It's a great location. Walk out the front gate and you're practically at the beach and right in the heart of Newcastle's pubs and restaurants. The hotel itself looks out to the sea. The restaurant is disappointing. There are better places in the town.

We climbed this mountain on a beautiful sunny day and it took us five hours to complete but worth every minute for the views at the top. Very steep decent though!
