Reflections on a historical past

This place deserves a lot of time spent here. Great presentations and themes. Should be seen in conjunction with the exhibition in the Guild Hall on Plantation of Ulster.

A very interesting exhibition on the Laurentic - a ship which sunk at the mouth of the Foyle River with loss of life and gold. Many interesting personal stories and heroic tales are told.

This museum was really surprising. It provided a great overview of the history of the city from its inception until modern time. Lots of videos throughout the exhibitions.

Very interesting museum with 3 exhibitions (1 temporary) . The Derry city history exhibition is very good with lots of videos making it more interesting. Good views from the top of the tower. I spent about 90 minutes here.

The museum is well worth a visit at present it has an exhibition running on the story of the Laurentic ship that sunk 100 years ago in Lough Swilly. This part is free to go round and the story boards are well set out and plenty of exhibits.
