Peadar O'Donnels, the home of Live traditional & contemporary music in Derry. On our premises we have 3 different bars – Peadar O’Donnells, the Gweedore Bar and Gweedore Upstairs. Peadars is known throughout the world and is a must visit location for the many tourists that flock to Derry in ever increasing numbers. We are famous for, among other things, our live music which is largely organised but has regular impromptu sessions from either local musicians or visiting performers. Whichever of our bars you would like to visit, you are guaranteed a warm welcome, a good time and the best pint of Guinness in Derry!

A visit to Derry would not be complete without a night at Peadar's. I visited earlier this week and the beer selection was terrific, the bartenders awesome, and the music was excellent. The crowd was friendly and happy. Great place and great entertainment.

During our recent visit to the area, we were recommended this pub and it's totally worth it. It has live music, good beer, local and kind people. Definitely, worth it to go for a couple of pints and enjoy the music.

What can I say simply the best. Excellent experience looks out for their guests when they have had to much to drink as others just want your money and put you on the street.

Came across this on our travels and it looked like it would be good - it was! It was quiet on the first 2 trips but it came to life late at night with music playing and time passed on quickly.

I am not sure, in general most pubs (that also serve food) in the UK ask that under 18's leave by 8pm. It may be different in the Republic of Ireland. It may be also be dependent on if you are eating a meal! Why not send an... More
