Visited Hazlehead Park as old Zoo had been refurbished and now has Meerkats which are very popular with visitors. Large play area for children. Various gardens dedicated to various occassions

This park has recently been restored. There is a lovely cafe and lots of space to walk around. Pets corner has recently opened and the park aslo has beautiful rose gardens.

When the weather is lovely it is a nice park to go for a long walk through the rose garden. You can take your dog which is very good (but wouldn't recommend letting them off the lead as lots of kids about!) The only down...More

Visited here on Sunday with family and friends. Huge park so you can do various length walks and runs. Lots for children to do particularly on that day and good food sold at the cafe. Great place to visit on a sunny day.

Hazlehead Park has a range of pleasant walks of varying lengths. All on the flat and accessible for most people.

We had such a lovely day last week. The zoo has the biggest rabbit we have ever seen and the Al paccas are very sweet. Cheap to get in and the kids loved it. Alarmingly the tortoises x 4 were absolutely brutal to each other!...More

The spelling is correct... it should be Hazlehead. I went to nearby Hazlehead Academy.
