if you have a day to walk through forest shade, this is the right place with right directions away from the crowd. you can park your car at the site and go for the walk. really enjoyed the visit.

We had a lovely time in Kirkhill Forest and Tyrebagger Woods. Not sure what the local custom of dancing naked around the Tappie is all about. We all joined in & had such fun.

Started as an average forrest walk but became a interesting hike with amazing views, high winds and beautiful sunset on Tappie tower

A good walking area easily within reach of Aberdeen. depending on the walk there are good view and woodland to walk though. If you care to find them there are sculptures though the forest. I walked from Tyrebagger around Elrick hillther are however many options.

As soon as we have a free moment we go to Kirkhill catch your breath fresh. great place to relax. Super place for a bike ride.

Nice area for walking and cycling. Pleasant walks and nice area this is popular with scout groups and orienteering fans. Easy to get to by car and nice god some peace and quiet.
