Played two of the three courses here , Burnside and Budden Links. Absolutely marvellous courses in great condition , top class greens and enjoyed the experience even with the soaking received on one of the days !

Truly an excellent old standby. One of the oldest courses in the rotation for the Open Championship and easy to see why. A beautiful example of Seaside links golf, in excellent condition. Nice clubhouse and welcome, great caddys, tough track with multiple tee blocks. In...More

Hello, Thank you for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your experience with us. While we don't have a driving range, there is a practice area although it is out past the Burnside course and once our new Golf Centre is complete we will...More

I'm not sure about this claim because I didn't play and I'm challenged at golf anywhere I play being a rank (gifted?) amateur. However, given the busyness of the course, I'd say it's a draw card for pretenders, would-be's and professional golfers. According to one...More

Definitely a must play course but unfortunately there are better ones to play while in Scotland. Still a great day.

We played all 3 courses this week. Each course was presented immaculately. This complex is not just about the championship course! We bought a 3 day ticket which is great value at £220. Amazing greens on all courses. The welcome is amazing to. If you...More

Great experience. Two females on a golfing adventure. Caddies were the best and made the whole experience worthwhile. Ben and John, thanks for a wonderful day.

This was my third time playing Carnoustie and once again it did not disappoint! This course lives up to the billing as the most challenging links course in the world, but still remains fun and enjoyable. The staff were super friendly right from the pro...More

I will be there in late July - early August. Is it difficult to get a tee time on the Championship course?

I booked through a company called Golf Scotland. They arranged all our tee times, even the Old Course. Stayed at the Fairmont in St Andrews. First class all the way .

I am currently waiting for my total left knee replacement, having had my right knee done in March 2014. I was wondering if you had buggies and what is the policy at Carnoustie

Hi I am travelling with a friend this weekend to play the 3 courses at Carnoustie, starting with the championship course on Friday. The question is do we need a handicap certificate?. We are both keen social golfers, however we are not affiliated to a club. We are not low handicappers, nor are we hackers. I play off about 20, my friend off about 18. The trip was booked as a gift through your golf travel and there was no mention of the requirement. Will we be disappointed after the 500 mile drive from Essex?
