There is four different walks you can take in the garden. Beautiful scenery to the loch nearby. Woodland garden, wee waterfalls, beautiful plants around. Definitely worth to visit. A wee gift shop and coffee shop included.

Super way to spend a couple of hours. Lovely gardens, egg hunt adding to the fun and focus for the kids (age 9 and 12). A like deer that we came across posed for photos and added to the magic.

Worth while visit even in Autumn. Well signposted walks of varying lengths. Peace and quiet amongst the many, some exotic, trees and shrubs. Enjoy listening to the water rushing through the gorge. Helpful and informative staff.

I have visited these gardens many many times as a stop off point to Tarbert. And never am I disappointed. We stop for lunch and a leg stretch. The small friendly cafe is great value with delicious homemade soups and sandwiches, cakes and excellent coffee....More

Spent most of a day here pottering around the signposted walks and looking at the trees and plants. Paths are pretty good and could be walked in ordinary shoes despite it having been rainy. Bearing in mind that it was autumn, there was not a...More

Visited the gardens last Friday and whilst there was few flowers to see we found the gardens beautiful with Autumn foliage. We did three of the walk options and with the exception of the yellow walk which is nearest the road you did not hear...More

I visited Crarae with my husband and two dogs. I’m not particularly into plants so can’t comment on the variety there but I do appreciate beauty and tranquility, and this garden has both. There are about 5 different walks that are well marked, including a...More

I've passed Crarae Gardens on many an occasion & often thought I should visit. Well finally whilst staying in Minard (just down the road) I got my wish. When I arrived the shop & visitor's centre was closed but you could still enter the gardens....More
