Spent a good couple of hours looking around. Fascinating look at penal life in days gone bye. Good stories and helpful cards (different languages available) or headphones. Well worth a look.

We had a lovely time with our kids.Very relaxed environment and friendly and helpful staff. Under 5s are free but still on the pricy side for adults.

Went here with my wife and 15 year old daughter. Limited parking outside the jail. The jail is fantastic in a great location and well worth a visit as you step back intime to the 1800's loads of original items and lot's of educational facts...More

All very well done. More a general history of prisons through the ages, not just specific to Inverary. Personal listening sets were useful, only issue is people were then engrossed in these rather than chatting. People there to show you where to go - prison...More

Nice informative day at the jail you get to see most parts of the prison old & new and you can have the audio tour free Kid love it thou it was a bit cold not too expensive and kids under 5 are free.
