Visited on Sunday morning, weather not great but the visit was still worthwhile for the view. Good place to watch a sunset on a summer evening.

McCraig's Tower is a trek...but so worth it for the views. I think it is a must-do when in Oban as it really gives you the lay of the land and the harbor. The city could do a better job on the landscaping and litter...More

Worth a walk or drive if you are less energetic as there's a free carpark next to it. Stunning views from here and it's free to enter. Nice place to sit with a flask of coffee admiring the views and watching the ferrys sail in...More

Not bad for a folly. Interesting history but only for when the sky is blue and sun is shining. Long walk up.

Lovely walk, wee bit steep in places but was well worth it. Very interesting history and the views over Oban are stunning.

Nice for a walk up the steps / hill for really good views over the bay. Nice photo opportunities to be had.

Very steep climb up from the beach but a lovely view of the town. Some benches to sit on and see the views

My wife and I stopped here on our drive in Oban. Little expensive for what it is, but well worth the stop and short (but steep) walk to the top. What a view, and the ruins were cool too.

The tower is located at the perfect place - on the top of the hill. From there you can see the whole town. It's also nearly the city centre, so very easily reachable (but you must go up to the quite steep hill).

The drive up was interesting, but once we parked, the walk was easy enough up hill and the views were so worth it! I would've liked a little more information about the structure, like why the heck it is even there, but the views, again,...More
