On the high street and full of history about a town with a lot of history. Nice building from the outside too. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

A quick visit - but worth calling in! At the end of the high street, it has some interesting galleries about the textile industry- some interactive sections will keep you amused. Worth dropping in.

A little museum of the local textile industry, quite interesting bits and pieces. I liked the way there were bits for children to join in like feeling the different types of wool and trying to knit and weave.
