The thrill of being on a bike off road transported me back in time to being a kid again. My son had a blast and impressed me with extra turns around the lower green route with some jumps off the rocks. The hire shop was reasonable price for excellent bikes so we didn't need roof bars or take our hybrid... More

We did the red route and although it involved a fair bit of climbing it wasn't too steep. The downhill sections were good fun.

If you like mountain bike cycling this I part of the 7 Stanes and can be a tough as you want it to be. Good parking, shop and cafe too. We noticed the wooden campsite cabins but stayed at a local hote. Greta day out and we also did the 'Go Ape' adventure too.

Lots of great trails to choose from for the family. We spent 2 days here exploring. My 3yr old had a go at her 1st green. My 7yr old was flying around the blue and my husband got his fix on the red.

Great quality bike. Bike trails could do with numbers on ALL posts - we started at Glentress Peel and had difficulty getting to buzzard nest car park. Locals directed us in the end. Main criticism of cycle hire was you get the bike and helmet but nothing else- no saddle bag with inner tubes spares or tyre levers, no bike... More

Amazing trails. Well kept. All the facilities you could need, cafe showers changing rooms and shop with bike hire available at good rates. Had several really fun days here.

Really really mega..... great for improving climbing skills and fabulous for walking. Peebles just a walk down the road. And a stillness to the whole area - great for the soul...

On our first visit we weren't sure if this place would be for us as we have a 2 & 5 yr old. On arrival we parked in the Peel car park. There are charges for the car park but given that all the trails are free & that the money goes to the up keep of the trails we... More

Glentress is blessed with stunning scenery in the low mountains of the Scottish Borders. The soil drains very well and although most parts of the trails have a man-made surfacing to improve the drainage further they retain a natural feel. You have everything from family/beginner friendly greens and blues to the challenging red and black trails. It would be great... More
