Lovely easy walk round the garden with lots of colour on the Rhododendron and Azalea bushes. The footpaths were well maintained and suitable for push chairs and wheelchairs. The cafe was well stocked and the service and food was good.

What a great place for a wander! Found by chance when visiting Peebles, friends were keen on a Sunday stroll. The gardens are lovely at this time of year with new foliage and the remains of daffodils. The sun came out and the views from the top of the hill were colourful and stunning. Cafe made a welcome stop for... More

Dawyck Botanic Garden is a beautiful setting. We spent 4+ hours here walking the trails. There are many different species of trees, flowers, shrubs, etc. from around the world to be seen. Be sure to stop at some of the higher viewpoints to enjoy the hills and streams that are around. So many picturesque locations in the gardens that include... More

No mention on website, gate posts or literature, that dogs were not allowed, even miniatures on leads, until car park was parked and we were about to pay entrance fee. Even if small dog had to be left in car, no suitable shaded spaces were offered! Disgusted!

Really interesting and beautiful place to visit. I learnt a lot about fungi and ferns! The collection of trees from around the world is extensive. Great spinach and chick pea soup in the cafe!

We visited Dawyck Gardens with our children during our Easter Holidays and we had a lovely day there. We paid £13.50 for 2 adults and children were free. The staff were freindly on arrival and we were given various trails to follow, which the kids really enjoyed and we felt were very infomative. We were particularly impressed by the majestic... More

Spring is well and truly upon us and it is a season worth visiting the Gardens. Autumn also is one of the most pleasurable times as the autumn golds and reds transform the area.

We visited Dawyck Garden Cafe on Saturday morning. A very nice cafe with friendly staff. We ordered bacon rolls and they were delicious. There are plants for sale and I noticed a very nice shop with lots of interesting things for sale. We didn't visit the gardens on this visit, but we have done in the past and they are... More

Lovely gift shop and coffee shop - disability access excellent. The gardens were lovely with amazing colours and a gentle walk for our parents who are older.
