Lochcarron Visitor Centre, in the heart of the Scottish Borders, offers our famous mill tours where you see all aspects of tartan production, then peruse our Visitor Centre and shop for knitwear, tartan and our fabulous accessories as well as taking a look at our lovely gift shop - Our newly expanded coffee shop offers Starbucks coffee, home made cakes, scones and light lunches! Well worth a visit!

Helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely selection of beautiful wool and cashmere. Real quality. Don’t waste your money on cheap mass produced wool. The difference in quality is considerable and you won’t regret buying real Scottish knitwear.

We thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour (Jimmy was a fantastic tour guide), the shop with all the beautiful tartans and the lovely coffee shop with such friendly and helpful staff and delicious home made scones.
