This is an interesting little house with lots of items which belonged to Robert Burns and his wife. It is free entry too which makes it even better as it doesn't take long to walk around.

Robert Burns died in Dumfries and this is the house he owned at the time. I only found it by accident. Admission is free and is contains a collection of Burns memorabilia. His grave and mausoleum is nearby.

If you like Robert Burns, it's worth a wee visit to see where the great man lived, for a while. Some interesting paintings and artefacts.

After being given a map of Dumfries and suggested places to visit, we came to this home. Free admission and helpful staff help to make it a worthwhile visit. Pleasant gardens opposite the house depicting some of his poems etc.
