Even though the castle was closed, we were very happy with our visit to the gardens. They are so terribly well-kept and so beautiful in their symmetrical design. Worth while to visit, even when the castle itself was closed.

If you wish to park at the Castle then yes there is a facility charge of £6 per person. If you wish to access other parts of the Estate and enjoy our walks then there would be no charge. We hope that this helps.
