A really well laid out exhibition building which is a nice mixture of hands on stuff ( I loved the Antarctic dress up!), videos and original material. It was the stories of the boat’s passengers, that included Scott and Shackleton, that really gripped the imagination...More

Studied in Dundee, but never explored the Discovery. Appreciate it more now after this visit. Really worth it to get a sense of the challenges of Antarctic exploration. And these voyages on vessels as relatively small as the RRS Discovery.

It isn't just about the ship, though that is great. The exhibit is about the exploration and the science. Go for a walk along the Tay afterwards to complete your day.
