We visited Scott’s restaurant today to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My daughter ordered pork tostada . It had a sweet spicy sauce and tasted worse than it looked. She couldn’t eat it. I had seafood linguine . The sauce was a bit thin and did not coat the pasta. My husband had fish and chips which you can hardly go wrong with. Our plates were all cold. We ordered two coffees and an afagato. The coffees arrived but no desert. After enquiring we were told it was coming up from the kitchen, it is only ice cream and espresso. Not good that we were not all served at the same time. After discussion on two occasions with the waitress we finally had the cost of two coffees and one dessert removed from the bill A very disappointing time was had by all. We will not rush back.

A total waste of time. If there was zeero ( 0 ) stars or less they would get that rating. In the description of the tour its mentioned we would get to see the puffins and the seals. From the description and pictures you get the impression there would be loads of Puffins and Seal around. The seals happily playing away doing their things.

There was only 1 seal which looked tied up to something that looked like a raft or something , Wow, we got to see 1 seal on the way out . As for the Puffins , any guesses??? None, not a single one in sight. The main highlight of the tour in my opinion, to see these lovely colourful birds in their natural habitat. What a disapointment.

By this time all intrest had been lost, what a shame. On the way back we got to see another 4 or 5 seals, once again they looked like they were tied up to this platform that was floating in the middle of the sea. The whole thing looked staged as if the seals were borrowed or leased from the local sea life zoo. The seals just lying there on the platform.

What a disapointment. When we docked back at the pier the ticket office was closed. I was going to ask for a refund. With 5 of us on the boat ride , all 5 very disappointed. Why pay for a tour when we dont' get to see the puffins or seals.

If you just want a ride on the boat then its okay , otherwise its a big No , No.......

What a dump. It’s not a wee hamlet it’s a huge town of over 25 000 people with 2 motorways and a main railway line running through it. Building houses and massive blocks of flats everywhere with the roads snarled up with parked cars.

A jumble of historic buildings, pubs and eateries, crying out to reopen again, nestling adjacent to these wonders of tbe modern world. Many great spots to view the Bridges and watch tbe trains trundle slowly over to the Kingdom of Fife.
A great place to spend a very rewarding day.

We stopped by here for a short time while on tour around Edinburgh and Scotland. This was one of the highlights of our time around Scotland. The views from here are absolutely magnificent. The area is a lovely spot to visit with a few shops and great people. Worth stopping by for a bit.

If in edinburgh take a trip out to this wee village. Fabulous view of the bridges across the Firth and a stroll down the mainstreet is like stepping back in time..... Beautifully maintained old buildings and cobbled streets lend it an air of bygone times and there are plenty of spots to have a coffee or a bite to eat.

A gorgeous & welcoming little town. It has amenities that you need but is quiet enough to recuperate after a long day seeing the sights. Plenty of restaurants to serve you all day long & a couple of charming pubs aiding in recharging after long days. There are bus stops and a train station in the town to assist in your travel needs. A beautifully positioned small town that deserves some attention.

Obviously the main attraction in South Queensferry is the view of the iconic "three bridges", but this little town is worth a visit in its own right.

As well as the waterfront walks, the little high street with its collection of pastel-coloured houses and shops is a delight. There is a good selection of independent shops and cafes and a couple of decent old pubs as well.

Well worth a visit.

Just a £1,50 bus ride, 40 minutes from Edinburgh. I wish I had more time to explore this beautiful place, I would like to cross one of the two bridges and see what's at the other side. ...
