I really expected to see more than a couple of rooms and a passageway for my money.I was very disappointed. The background history was interesting but honestly there was not much to see.

It was a 45 min tour with Sean on a wet rainy day. It was raining the full day, so we were given headsup that the vaults would be damp. We met Sean at Tron church and were given introduction about south bridge and cow...More

Went on the Terror Tour. Was OK, nothing special. Probably expected more for the price, a few people on the tour seemed to enjoy it more than we did though.

The tour was ok with spooky stories told by small time actors so overall the effect was quite nice and dramatic. They took us to some vaults and it must have been horrible living there. if indeed they are still haunted, I am not surprised,...More

We went on the Vaults & Graveyard tour and were lucky to have Darren as our guide. His storytelling skills were very informative and made the tour most enjoyable and atmospheric. Would highly recommend

This tour is a good 1 hour tour which we took during night. It is interesting since you get to visit the underground vaults of Edinburgh and hear tales and legends about it's spirits and ghosts. Andrea was our excellent guide.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

I wouldn't recommend that anyone that has trouble with extremely uneven stairs go down under the city in the tunnels for this tour.

Good morning all, Would this be suitable for a 9 year old? She would not cope if anyone jumps out at you but would if it was just a tour and talk? thanks
