We found it by accident, worth a walk (even in the rain). Very nice old houses and coblestoned streets.

We recently visited Edinburgh and since we have a grandson named Dean, I wanted to see Dean Village. We took the bus there & walked down the steep path. There's not much there really but residences but the views are very nice & its very...More

Very nice, quiet area of well-kept older houses on the Water of Leith. Well worth taking some time to walk around and a good start of finish for a walk on the path on the Water of Leith.

Hidden away just blocks from Edinburgh is Dean Village. Once a bustling industrial area now a quiet neighborhood that is fantastic for a walk. Great old homes and beautiful scenery.

has gentrified. Some second-hand shops cling on, but
mostly residents display refined tastes in basement
