Found this place passing by and heard music. It was open mic night and musicians could play for about 15-20 minutes each. Heard some really cool stuff! If you're into metal and alternative music this may be a good place!

Came here with my boyfriend over Halloween. I used to come here when I lived here and it was always fab. Now I find it a bit trendy, didn't know a lot of the music and I think it had lost its personality. If you're...More

Just moved into edinburgh recently and was taken here by one of my coworkers and I've been back a couple times already! The drinks are cheap and the venue is nice.

This place is an absolutely amazing rock bar. Downstairs is a quieter, laid back bar type setting with a great jukebox. The decor is great, manging to seem 'industrial' (the bar is made from railway sleepers) whilst also being a very nice place to be....More

This is a brilliant themed bar night club, Great music! Even if you just want to chill out and listen to their jukebox and have a few beers, great selection of tunes

Was on a stroll around Edinburgh, bar hopping while on a mid week break with my partner and we happened upon this rock bar. Loved it!! Music was great, drinks were cheap we almost didn't continue on and came back the next night!

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
