I've been going to to Cameo for years and always loved it. Just such a relaxing and friendly place to go and watch a movie. The selection of movies is usually good with always something to enjoy. Screen 1 has the advantage of having all...More

Really nice cinema, friendly staff. The bar does great hot chocolates and a nice range of cakes and snacks, which you can take in to the screen. There are three screens. Screen 1 is huge with nice reclining seats, screen 3 feels like a private...More

I really love the Cameo. It's bit of unique, little gem among Edinburgh theatres and cinemas. Unique architecture and furniture, a lovely cafe (maybe the service here could be bit more efficient), a few but elegant movie theatres. I guess what makes this place special...More

I really enjoyed my trip to this cinema. So unique and lovely. Saw a film in screen 1 and it was just beautiful. So authentic. I also loved how the seats reclined! Bliss!

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable

Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
