We caught the bus to 'Ocean Terminal' which is an absolutely awful modern generic, soulless shopping mall at Leith and couldn't get out quickly enough. The docks are spread out over a large area and it is not really practical to walk around and look...More

The sun shone and it was pleasant walking around the refurbished river area. Plenty of bars and restaurants, amazing seafood. If you had the time could walk too or from Edinburgh city centre and the Royal Yacht could be visited.

Get a bus or taxi. Head to "The Shore" for a walk. OK it has a rough edge but what port doesn't. Lots of very good places to eat and drink. Something new opens each year.

We walked to Leith from our apartment in Stockbridge, and it was a pleasant walk through woods and along the river. The walks along the waterfront in Leith are also very pleasant, but it is clear that the area is becoming increasingly gentrified. There are...More

Leith is quite a big area with one if it's borders right near the centre so it could be anywhere from £5-15 depending also in the day (surcharges apply late at night and on weekends). If you download the Uber app it gives... More
