My toddler, husband and I spent the night and day here as a last minute impromptu break. I actually used to work here when the hotel first opened when I was at school and at that point it was a little bit corporate however now it's really atmospheric and lovely. We were upgraded to a corner suite which was really... More

Drove to St Andrews from Perth on the back road on the south side of the river Tay and a very enjoyable drive, arrived in the town within 20 minutes. The Old course on a Sunday is a great treat, you are able to walk the 18th fairway to St Swilken's Bridge and take photos, then onto the 17th green... More

Spend 2 nights at The Fairmont St. Andrews Bay this weekend attending a friends 50th birthday celebrations. The main hotel has just been refurbished and is truly magnificent. All staff were friendly and provided first class service with a smile. Can't wait for my next visit, they've really got things right here.

Was golfing with friends and we decided to have a coffee and bacon roll before going out to play. The foreign girl behind the bar was so rude and was like she wasn't wanting to be there and was very unhelpful. After the round we came in for a quick beer, at this point i nearly needed oxygen when they... More

Had reservations about going here with our toddler but it could not have been more welcoming. Loads for the kids to do in and out with the hotel. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Only downside is that they had closed their main restaurant and pushed everyone into the bar, clubhouse and Esperante and didn't really have the number of staff... More

Just played the Torrance golf course at the Fairmont resort just outside of St Andrews, course itself was in good condition. We made use of a green free golf 2 for 1 voucher and it still cost £70-00 each. Firstly we were surprised on arrival that there were only about five cars parked in the car park so we could... More
