Visited this modern art gallery when I was visting Glasgow a few years ago but it is very disappointed because it was very boring and it is modern art and not normal art like paintings. When I was looking around in this gallery with my...More

The history of the building is interesting, perhaps more so than the small collection of visual arts on display in the four galleries housed in the modest size art gallery which titles itself as GOMA after the world class MOMA.More

Good place to get out of the rain on a cold day! Some of the gallery spaces were not open as exhibitions were changing so seemed smaller than many galleries. Interesting in parts and good for fans of modern art.More

The only impressive thing about this is the building itself. We are far from an art expert but usually enjoy browsing galleries, we are only glad that we did not have to pay an entrance fee. This was very little contained within each gallery. Even...More

Great location. What is the story behind the cone on the statue? Great that it was free, although it asks for a minimum donation. There wasn't loads on each floor but I assume the point of modern art museums is to inspire thought and it's...More

Thanks for your review - delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable visit and in particular liked Mitch Miller and Michael McMillen's work in Inner City. Although sometimes confused for being an art installation that the Gallery is responsible for the cone(s) on Wellington's...More

From what I heard of the GoMA's reputation I had high expectations about the galleries is about. Inside I only found pretty small galleries with little number of pieces to look at. I don't know if that is, because the museum is free to enter,...More
