I have eaten here a couple of times and have really enjoyed the food. However, I would not pay to walk around the house again, it was a bit boring, empty and felt ripped off due to the high enterance fee! Ended up spending more time walking around the outside - around the sculptures in the gardens as this was... More

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch here in Saturday with my sisters & nephew after his nearby ski lesson. The food was amazing... definitely will be back on to explore more when the weather is a little warmer..

Over the years we have frequented House for an Art Lover for family dinners, musical events, weddings and of course many lunches. We were in the cafe for a light lunch this afternoon - and just perfect as always. So my wife and I decided it was time we let you know our thoughts. There can be no better place... More

The food is delightful and the ambience is lovely. The works of art on the grounds and the flower garden add to the experience.

This is the most beautiful house, full of the style that Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret are known for. There is a modest entrance fee but this gives you a very informative audio guide throughout the house. Unlike other houses, photos are permitted plus you can touch and sit on the furnishings. It is just gorgeous in every... More

I conducted my friends' wedding there yesterday and was also a guest. The arrangements for the ceremony were perfect and Robert guided everyone with a light touch. Service during the drinks and canapés reception and the meal was judged to a T, efficient, unobtrusive and friendly. Dinner, the highlight of the reception was delicious and arranged to allow just the... More

We were five for lunch today. Beautiful location, easy to access when you know how. Good value for money and food to salivate over. Four of us ate fish and raved over the hake and crushed potato dish. Unforgettable! Warmly recommended. Stuart Ross

We visited here almost by mistake as we got off the Clockwork Orange at Ibrox for a wander. I noticed it was in the vicinity and thought we ought to pay a visit-we were so glad we did! The house really is a fascinating insight into the mind and design of Rennie-Macintosh. Although it is a realisation of his plans... More
