Being in Glasgow for the weekend we decided to visit Glasgow museum. We were not disappointed. There is so much to see and such a diversity of exhibits. Of course the one that took our breath away was the Dali. You could spend all day there and not see everything. My grandson, who is three, practically had to be dragged... More

If you are interested in the history of Scotland and that of Glasgow then this is a worth a while trip. The exhibits are clear and well presented in this old building with a starring attraction of a spitfire suspended. It's downfall is that it may not be too suited for children due to the size and complexity of the... More

I came to see the Alphonse Mucha Exhibition - very reasonably priced at £5 with a large collection of his work. I enjoyed looking at some of my old favourites as well - Horatio McCulloch's My Heart's in the Highlands and Salvador Dali's Christ of Saint John of the Cross. Got to hear the organ play as well, just a... More

My wife and I visited this art gallery and museum on a trip to visit friends and family in Glasgow. It was really good. There were excellent paintings, like the Dali, nice exhibits, like the Ancient Egypt with its mummy, and a grand and palatial feeling in the building. There was a nice looking coffee shop and we watched a... More

Visited Glasgow many times and never visited. Probably one of the best museums I've visited, having just visited Amsterdam that says a lot. Great exhibitions, lot of readily available information. Fantastic atmosphere. Well worth a visit, couldn't believe it is free entry. Would have been happy to pay, worth a generous donation.

For such a renowned museum, I was very disappointed in the exhibits. Everything was displayed in such a random manner too. Wasn't an enjoyable visit.

This museum manages to keep a sense of tradition and luxury while embracing new technology. We have visited many times and it is ever changing from dr who to vettriano to a wonderful corporate private celebration. All so incredible. Food and shop also high quality
