Just fantastic rural park in the middle of a city. Ten minute train ride from city centre, it has great art collection at the Burrel and old country house, pollokshaws house. Beautiful walks

Pollock park is on our door step and we visit regularly. The kids love the play ground and visiting the horses. They also love the pond fishing for tadpoles and taking selfies with the high land cows. The Forrest is forever changing with the season's and we love listening to the different sounds of the trees and birds as we... More

A must, worth a visit to the main house, and the museum, and if you have time on your hand, visit the Park, absolutely beautiful, and towards the end of the afternoon you can enjoy a lovely sandwich or sweets at the main house basement.

If visitors wish to exercise there are a number of riverside and woodland walks. Pollok House is a magnificent Edwardian country house beautifully situated overlooking the River Cart. A recent visit to Pollok Country Park on a crisp autumn day proved to be one of the best decisions we made in the time we've been in Glasgow. What an amazing space. It's in the middle of a city, yet you would think you were in open country. The colours of the leaves, the grandeur of Pollok House and... More

Approximately 20 minutes (depending on the time of day) from the City Centre this wonderful green space houses the Burrell Collection, Pollok House and loads of Heilant Coos !! or Highland Cows to the less informed. It also has several trails which are never that far away form the exits, although I did get lost for a little while when... More

A huge and beautiful space not too far from the city centre. Sadly our visit didn't allow time to visit Pollok House or Burrell Collection. But our walk along the riverside, courtyard and gardens has whetted the appetite and we hope to return.
