Sundays wouldn't be Sundays without a walk in Pollok! Beautiful views, clean paths, wild nature, river and ponds, ducks, hairy cows, horses, Pollok House, etc. Feels like being on the country side! It is the lungs of the South Side of Glasgow!

Use to run here every Thursday in the summer and what a place! So many great trails to explore and just the perfect setting for a run. I've also been a few times to watch my husband play cricket and it really is just a great place to relax. Definitely worth many visits. Lots of parking so no worries about... More

We were in Pollok Park for a bit of lunch at Pollok House (which is free and very interesting). The park is pretty big and caters for pedestrians, cyclists, etc. I would imagine it's good irrespective of the season, so worth a look, and of course, there's always the Burrel Gallery.

This is my top location in all of Glasgow. The grounds are beautiful whatever the time of year. A visit to the house is a must Throughout the year they run topical events and have a formal lunch menu as well as coffee and cakes. Lovely shop and local wares. In summer they run family days etc. Defy anyone not... More

Bonnie place to visit and great play park for kids. Not far off the motorway if you need some fresh air or you could spend the whole day.

Come here often to have a long walk, visit Pollock House or the Burrell Museum (now closed for restoration). The park has a few walking and cycling paths through the woods along the river and across the parklands all very scenic. There is normally lots to do for kids, Pollock house (National Trust) tearoom is not to be missed

I have known this park most of my life and have visited in all weather and in all seasons, admiring the changing views with the passing seasons. Attractions include: the river, magnificent trees, beautiful flowers both wild and cultivated, innumerable species of birds, deer, highland cattle and the heavy horse stables. There is of course Pollok House which is a... More
