Hospital is reasonable clean but needs to work on onsite car parking that you don't need to pay for. While I was having my daughter I had to have regular check ups twice or three times a week and no joke the car parking us to come to £10 each day. I thought that was terrible so I was paying... Only hospital I know that charges you for parking and it is £1.70 per hour which I think is scandalous but there is literally nowhere else to park. And both times I've been the past week I've been charged different amounts- £4.40 for 1 hour and 20 mins!!

An excellent old functional building that has been in use for over 200 years. None the less, there are modern facilities and extensions. There are extensive underground passageways that are not available to the public.

This is a new one on me for Trip Advisor, reviewing a hospital! The Royal as it is known is old, dirty and with quite a history which is fairly untold. Needs a good clean up and should be restored to a beautiful historic building and its story told. Interesting architecture
