Just a short drive from Glasgow, Stirling and Loch Lomond, this traditional, hard working distillery has been flourishing since 1833. The tour is excellent and easily booked on line. The shop offers discounts on the whisky which could not beaten by any on line discount sites

The Glengoyne distillery is located in Dumgoyne near Killern. The parking was on one side of the road and the distillery is on the other. Our tour was very informative. There were steps involved but everyone seemed to do fine going up and down them....More

Excellent tour, well planned and well presented. Highlight for me was the tour guide, Meghan, who was superb. She spoke with confidence and assurance, great knowledge of her subject and pride in the product. I was really impressed by her presentation.

Very close to Glasgow, video introduction highlighted many of the staff that we saw on tour. The best of both worlds “Highland” & “Lowland” distillery - whisky good. Guide Vivienne was an outstanding actress, lots of facts and great rapport with the tour - entertaining.

When I was there, there were children on tours, so I think your 15 year old would be allowed, but just not allowed to imbibe. I'd contact them just to be certain - I had a few questions before I booked and they were quick... More
