Course is okay for a small hit around. Flat parkland course. My only issue is there is a clear difference between the course upkeep from a private club as it could be better maintained, broken green pins and rubbish lying around course, bins overflowing.

I've read the other reviews and I understand. Firstly, I love this course, it just suits my basic level of golf and I always seem to play well here. But man it is so distractive, from people walking across the greens with dogs to neds in the woods drinking Tennants in a purple can to five guys playing in front... More

Knightswood is the epitome of what you imagine a municipal course to be. Location is perfect, services a large area in Glasgow however, I grudge paying £15 for a round where the greens will have standing water, around half will have pin flags & most annoyingly, people jump in front of you over the low fences left, right & centre.... A nine hole golfy in glasgow run by the council. Some great holes...first is very long and tapers to a real tight gren...every hole from then on is fun and a challenge. Guys maintaing the course do a good job but i feel the council could really make this a cracking course.... Go play it...dont be a snob

Knightswood was the first golf course I played on 55 years ago.I am coming home to Scotland for a Holiday and guess what I cant wait to see my old home course. I would like to think that visitors get as much pleasure as I did all those years ago, for a municipal course it was kept in good order,... More

Played a couple of rounds here not a bad course but the tee boxes are in need of repair. I think on my third round there I got to the first hole by the green and there was a guy laying in the bunker!! Like someone said before its an experience! Best to play in the morning if you want... More

Play every saturday morning but its a lottery! Its like no rules exist. You book a time and your told its busy. Turn up and the course is empty or theres 500 folk all teeing off at 9am. Its ned central after the 2nd tee. Wee thugs just skip on then verbally abuse you or take pot shots at you... More

this course along with the 6 football pitches and knightswood park to the north provide the nesrest thing to central park that glasgow has to offer.
