The pavilion is a well maintained old Victorian theatre where a lot of original features are still to be seen. We were at a midnight performance of the stage hypnotist Peter Powers who worked his subjects very well, please note this is an ADULT show and ends in full nudity, but is hilarious for every step of the way. Our... More

Love the Pavilion, have been going there since I was a small child with my parents. Can't fault the venue but was appalled at the security staff at the Alexander O'Neal concert last week. Alexander was encouraging everyone to get up to dance which we all did but the security staff seemed to pick on one particular woman who was... More

This is the only venue I have ever seen people being forced not to dance and dragged out for dancing. Outrageous. We went to see Alexander O'Neal which was great and we were encouraged to dance by Alexander and his team but then forced to sit.

We attended the Alexander O'Neal concert last night. 3 songs in and I was unceremoniously ejected for dancing! I was absolutely shocked by the the agressive nature displayed by the G4S security. They were both physically and verbally abusive to myself and other patrons. A "gentleman " whom claimed to be the owner of the establishment told us that "this... More

This is what it is .....a victorian old fashioned theatre. A delightfull time trap and very nice decor lending itself to particular types of show's but not the show my wife and i attended, maybe the booking management should be advised on what type of show is going to be on stage. We were attending Alexander O'Neil and his band,... More

This is a lovely old fashioned theatre which host some fine acts and shows. Sadly Glesca Dance Mums is not one of them, with the notable exception of the fabulous character Betty and the truly wonderful young dancers. The script is dire , the delivery mostly just shouting with loads of Scottish clichés. I had to hold my ears every... More

We ladies went to "ELFIES" panto just last week. Front row seats Saturday afternoon. From start to finish it was Magic! Never laughed so much in ages. Back to childhood joining in with the usual panto antics. The cast scenery music singing and dancing uplifting. The Pavilion has a great atmosphere every time.
