You should really make time for a walk through the campus of the University. The old buildings, the open spaces, seeing life on campus is a nice experience. It's a big part of the city, its worth the time.

Amazing University grounds and building. Very much like Harry Potter World in Orlando but this is the real thing. It could quite easily have been filmed here. Great place to wander around after visiting Mackintosh House or the Hunterian Museum.

This is my uni, and there couldn't be a much prettier campus! Walking through the cloisters to get to lectures each morning definitely makes me happy I chose Glasgow. Not all of it is pretty - there are also plenty of examples of 60s brutalist nightmares. But it's an interesting contrast. I recommend taking the SRC tour to find out more... More

We stayed nearby at an AirBNB, and walked through the great parks and by the old university buildings. I hadn't heard too much about this before, so was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this university. Lots of happy students bounding about! Much more hilly than I ever would have guessed. Worth walking around.
