Cafe and bar district

Lots of cafes, restaurants and bars in the area. Quite hipster. So many food and entertainment options. Grosvenor cinema located here.

The West End is a wonderful area of Glasgow. It has everything, great restaurants, cafes, shops (in particular Byres Rd) transport, pubs, museums and parks. In my opinion, you can't visit Glasgow, without a trip to the West End.

This is a fun area of the city and within walking distance of the University of Glasgow as well as myriad shops, cafes and restaurants as well as other attractive tourist sites.

Whether it's education, food, entertainment, shops, parks, museums, local history, transport links both public and private, galleries, gardens, pubs, concerts, festivals, architecture, or anything else you care to come up with (except for unpleasant nasty things)... West is best

One of the hip and trendy parts of Glasgow with an array of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, next to the main University and home to students and professionals alike. Great night out and ideal for those quirky bargains and zanny clothes by day....

The West End, is a must in your agenda to visit, especially the antique stalls, and later on cross over to Aston Lane for a drink or just a meal, so much to choose from, just amazing

these museums are free to the public and are all within a 5 minutes walk. With Byres Road and all its eateries, entertainment and bars, again within a short walk, this is a must see area for anyone visiting Glasgow
