Had a table reserved for myself and my friend's for my birthday and had a wonderful time! All the cocktails were beeeeautiful! The Emily Emily is a huge favourite of mine. Ended up staying right up until 3am instead of going somewhere else because the company, music and drinks were all top notch.

These bartenders know what they're doing. Informed and considerate when suggesting spirits and mixes, ready to produce excellent versions of whatever you fancy, on menu or not.

Was here over new year's Eve just gone with my fiancée. Was a great night with lively atmosphere and live music all night till 2am. The cocktails and the menu where great with everything you would want and more, and all of the highest quality would happily rush back every time I'm in Glasgow. Ps amazing Old fashioneds

Had heard good things about Blue Dog however found the cocktails overpriced for what you get. Have tried White Russians many places and this was more like have a drink of milk for £7-£8. Won't be back anytime soon.

I found myself in the Blue Dog cocktail bar and I must say I throughly enjoyed it. The place has a good vibe about it and isn't somewhere you'll find girls out on a hen night if that's your thing. There was live music on as well and the gentleman was happy to take requests, a kind of hipster type... More

Fabulous cocktails. Good music excellent vibe. My wife and I end up here if we are in town before the dreaded train home. Last bit of freedom before releaving the baby sitter

Took my boston terrier into the bar, and before ordering, I asked the guy behind the bar if dogs were allowed. He said "no"; I said I thought I'd read on-line that dogs were allowed (I also thought because it was called Blue Dog, they would allow dogs in for some reason), he then told me....."look sweetheart (!!!! I'm 54... More

Love this bar. Great cocktails, not your generic kind - if you can get an Itison deal, that's a great introduction. Better to go midweek - weekends tend to be busy...

I love this bar, live music is amazing! The bar has such a relaxed but vibrant vibe about it, the cocktails are delicious, staff are very hard working especially on a very busy Saturday night! I do wish the bar was bigger though.
