We had lunch in Ft. Augustus and decided to walk down the canal some. There is a foot trail along the whole thing. We walked for a good while and enjoyed the stroll - in the rain! Lots of great views along the way!

Whiling away the time watching a large (for waterways) cruise boat come down this multi stepped shipping/boating canal to Loch Ness was fun. A very up close and personal experience watching this engineering marvel.
