This is an amazing setting where you can walk, cycle, take a push chair or a wheelchair and still experience what everyone else can. Rothiemurchus is romantice, beautiful, scenic, inspiring, welcoming. There are so many words I can use to describe this place.

Rothiemurchus is one of the nicest places to go in Aviemore. Plenty of activities (fishing, 4x4, walks,etc), really recommended!

This is tooooo big to quantify in here. Every and I mean everything for the outdoors. been coming here form many many years, scenery, sports, mountains and rivers, food and shops, wardens and tours...................it simply is a must do!

We hired a hide near Loch an Eileen to photograph wildlife. I don't know whether we were lucky but red squirrels visited frequently. There are a couple of fallen trees which encourage them to jump. Plenty of birdlife - we photographed Great, Coal and Blue...More

This place is amazing! The burger is to die for, best I've ever had. We bought venison steaks from the shop which were delicious and the best mince round I have ever had. This will be a regular stop for us when in this area...More

Called in for a coffee and scone and was pleasantly surprised how busy it was after tasting out scone I realised why! !well worth a visit.
