Overview
More
The Spey Valley Championship Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course that meanders through ancient Caledonian pine forests and along the banks of the sparkling River Spey. Some of our holes are famous for their outstanding natural beauty; our 5th hole boasts the longest hole in Scotland (at 635 yards) and our 6th spans a lake which has been adopted as a nesting site by a bird colony. When you reach the 12th at the start of the home stretch, the Spey Valley opens up before you like a film set, whilst the 16th presents a real challenge for even the most experienced golfer. You'll need a long, accurate tee shot to carry the water hazard and the flowering purple heather is standing by to punish a poor shot. However, the most spectacular of all has to be the 18th; with its two bunkers designed to mirror the undulating corries of the mountains beyond, this is our raison d'être.

12 golfers 2 rounds 18th & 19th June. Excellent course, but stay out of the heather. Staff could not have made us more welcome from the start, organising buggies, and the rest. Left cars and clubs at the club, and the mini bus took us...More

We spotted the Club's road sign as we were passing through Aviemore, so we made a U turn and my wife popped in to see if we could book a tee time. She returned saying she'd met a lovely young man called Jonny, who'd made...More

The very best I have played. An impeccable standard of course, absolutely perfect condition. Staff are very friendly and helpful, this is a long course so a buggy hire would be even quicker.

I had the mushroom and garlic flat bread and fries, very tasty and filling. Also had a late with my meal as I watched the roe deer in the grounds by the lochan.

Beautiful golf course that is incredibly scenic. Beware it is very long with some long walks between green and next tee. I would definately buy a stroke saver as there are quite a few blind shots. Disappointing pro shop, it's about the size of a...More
