Water doesn't get much more mysterious than this 23 mile stretch running through the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. There's no better way to experience Loch Ness than by boat. Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here.

While up in Inverness for a job interview, I had one day to explore and decided to go for a Jacobite cruise on Loch Ness. Their customer service is excellent. I found out about the company last-minute and had to run across town to catch the coach only to find they had asked it to wait for me. Alan, the... More

I always do this boat trip every time I am up by Loch Ness. The boat tour is such good fun. Great value and a very relaxing way to spend an hour. The boat is very comfortable and has a bar and café. My only criticism this year is that the old recorded commentary with the bagpipes has been replaced... More

Took the 4 hour Sensation tour beginning with the Loch Cruise! The cruise was fantastic, with amazing views of the Loch in Autumn. The castle was stunning and you have an hour to explore the ruins, the gift shop and the cafe. The Loch Ness exhibition centre was alright too. I would have loved more time at the castle and... Took the 1hr inspiration cruise. No sign of the monster unfortunately but cruise was enjoyable taking in the views. The tour guide on the boat was very informative although there were a few moments when the reception seemed to cut out and we missed bits of what he was saying. We didn't do the getting off to walk round the... More

Wonderful trip around the Loch - not a monster in sight !! It was a sunny, cold November day and the trip on the Loch was very bracing. The information given by the staff was interesting and relevant and delivered very well. The trip included a stop off at Urquahart Castle. This was interesting although short, and would have been... Great trip around Loch Ness, with plenty to see. You start at Inverness bus stop, then you go to see Loch Ness, when you are changing a bus for a catamaran and sail to see Urquhart castle. The best tour guide that we ever had, Alan.

Great organisation but lacked a bit of Nessie romance. Coach driver very knowledgeable, boat ride was a bit of a non event - no commentary. Castle was a bit bland. Visitor centre was OK. I think they could make much more of this and make it more captivating but sadly it was an average excursion.

We enjoyed the Loch Ness experience. Sandy our guide was very helpful and his comments where both clever and insightful, the bus was very clean and comfortable. We got a nice weather break that allowed the cruise to be very enjoyable. If you want to find Nessi, this is the way to go.
