This is a nice friendly bar with a good selection of malt whisky. Good atmosphere with plenty of tourist. Only complaint is malt whisky is over priced . Worth a short visit but drop run up a tab .

Back again on our now annual lads trip to Inverness and here every evening, once more a taste of Whiskyteer heaven!
As ever, the range of whiskies on offer impresses mightily and the top class staff make this place - huge shout out to the awesome Sarah and the legend Charlie.
The ever changing global clientele gives this place a real interesting vibe with aficionados of the water of life making their pilgrimage and meeting fellow worshippers!
Only been home three days and missing it already - looking forward to next year’s trip!

What a day ! Whiskey tasting & Cocktails for the girls !!!
Charlie hosted our day - and what a hoot ! I’m sure he will need therapy after today, we had such a laugh! Especially his teaching us “Gaelic” 🤣
Paddy on cocktail duty - and did not disappoint !
Our second visit to this little gem , and certainly not our last !

After being recommended to visit The Malt Room by another local bar we decided why not. Neither my partner or myself really like whiskey, but when In Scotland we thought why not.
The staff were brilliant. Very very friendly and knowledgable. We tried a couple of whiskeys including the 40year old tomatin single malt at a whopping £200 a shot! (Worthy every penny in our eyes!) The barman was very informative about this whiskey and we really felt like we were apart of an experience! The bar itself is very cosy and had immaculate ambience. And you must try the cocktails! Delicious. Thank you guys!

The Malt Room was the best evening or our 13 day trip to England and Scotland!! Try to schedule it in. The atmosphere was cozy and the whiskey presentation was exactly what we hoped. We learned about Scotland, we learned about Scottish Whisky and heard great songs.

In need of an evening drink (specifically whiskey) we found the Malt Room down a small alley off one of the main streets. I started with a beer and then followed with a whiskey while my wife chose a prosecco followed by another whiskey. The beer and wine were fine and the whiskeys excellent. The advice from the friendly staff was outstanding, they really know their stuff and are happy to give good recommendations. We returned a few nights later so clearly we were happy. One work of warning, the bar is relatively small, there was always a happy atmosphere but you may have to wait if you want to sit down.

Incredible whisky tasting experience. Top of the line bartender helped us w selection. We did two flights. He also took the time to explain each whisky, distiller and answer our questions. Very quiet and relaxing. Our best stop in Inverness. Highly recommend.

Slightly pretentious and expensive I’m not a whisky drinker but would probably would of felt more welcome if I was a tourist spending copious amounts of money on not a lot.
If you can get past that it’s a nice little bar with a reasonable selection of whiskey if that’s your tipple.

The bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave them free reign on a recommendations and I was surprised by the amazing drams they choose for us and at a reasonable price. We are local and it’s our favourite bar anytime we are in town.
