We stopped here on our way from Inverness to Edinburgh and the staff were very friendly and helpful in putting together a tasting for us. They also had chocolates to pair with the scotch, which was surprisingly delicious.

We had never visited a distillery before and were excited about this one! It was a great experience..an informative walking tour of the plant was followed by a description of their whiskies, and a video. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions.

This distillery is on the way for our ride to Inverness. As we were fascinated by the Dalwhinne we thought we shouldn't miss out this one. turned out we were right, the whisky from this distillery are great, We didn't have much time here for the tour but we did tasted their products and found it to be one of... Having visited quite a few distilleries elsewhere, we wanted to see a genuine Scotch distillery and were very pleasantly surprised both by the tour and the quality of this location. Our guide was exceptionally friendly and knowledgable and made every effort to ensure a very good visit despite some small accessibility problems for wheelchair. We had a very pleasant tasting... A half hour drive outside Inverness, but well worth the effort. Tomatin isn't one of the very well known whiskies, until you appreciate they supply the major brands with malt for blends. They have their own selection of great aged Highland malts and you get to try a selection on the tour. Whisky distilling, like old fashioned beer brewing, is... More

We really enjoyed this distillery tour. They offer two prices so anyone driving gets a cheaper rate as they will not be able to enjoy the whisky tasting at the end. I advise anyone intending to do the tour to phone and book in advance. We had an hour to fill in while waiting for the next tour and people... More

I've visited many distilleries during a holiday in the Inverness area, with mixed reviews. However, Tomatin has to be the best. A wonderfully friendly, knowledgeable and helpful gentleman called Mike looked after us, although I was a wee bit dithery! I eventually narrowed my choices down (not easy!) and asked to try the 'Cu Bocan'-just as a party arrived following... More
