This is well worth a visit. Check out interesting new displays. OK its not in the city league of Glasgow or Edinburgh but bearing in mind the population of Inverness and lack of funds it is good for a wet AM/PM

A very nice small museum, well laid out with a mix of art, history and nature. Free admission and very friendly staff. A nice little trip in the centre of Inverness.

A great museum, free entry, informative about Scottish history, had a very interesting exhibition on about automatons, interactive and fun. Definitely recommend as a place to visit.

When we visited they had the 'Monarch of the Glen' on display along with an associated art installation. They also had some interesting bronze sculpture. The museum itself covered a lot of ground and is well worth an hr of your time. Its free so...More
