Its so lovely walking on either side of the river. Would surely miss the calmness of the water, Strolling on those wonderful bridges and footpaths is something that would be truly missed.

Lovely river and wonderful to stroll along its banks on the footpaths and bridges that span the historic district of Inverness.

A walk along the Ness River is so relaxing and relaxing with amazing views of the Inverness Castle. So quite where one can walk, sit down or go by bike.

...of the city of Inverness, is the river and its banks. Lovely evening walks - up one side, down the other in the spring or summer sunshine. Nice beer or coffee gardens along the way, and photo opportunities from the bridges.

You could walk for a long way then cross any bridge and walk back. Easy basically flat walk...just beautiful.

Walking the river from two to the botanical gardens and back across the Ness Islands was a lovely way to see the local and meet locals and fellow tourists.
