Our group of six were here for the 11 am sunday service, which happened to be holy communion on the day we went. Friendly clergy and parishioners alike made us feel welcome (we were from London, England).

Whilst exploring Inverness, we saw this gorgeous cathedral and had to go in. Inside there's beautiful architecture, especially the angel statue. I marvelled at how lovely it was. It wasn't busy which meant we could take our time looking around. It seemed a peaceful, lovely place. The cathedral is on a street of more lovely architecture. Inverness is truly a... More

This Cathedral is open to all. It was very peaceful with you able to walk all the way to the high altar. Unlike London Cathedrals which charge to enter this wonderful place is free with donations if you wish. The parking on the road is / was 50p. The Cathedral is better value than the local council. What ever your... More

I'm not a religious person but I do appreciate architecture and this place is stunning. Set alongside the river Ness there is a local car park which is reasonably priced giving you value for time to explore the cathedral and the city. The architecture of this building is fantastic from the layout to the decoration inside. Beautiful stained glass windows... More

The Cathedral is very impressive sitting by the River Ness. When I went there was only a few visitors looking around. I love stain glass and this Cathedral did not disappoint at all. They are large and vibrant. It was lovely just to walk around and take in the lovely atmosphere. My only disappointment was I couldn't find any candles... More

Thank you for your comments and we are pleased to read you enjoyed your visit to the Cathedral. The candles are usually topped up each morning and are in the sections by the money part of the stands. We hope that you will be able to return to light a candle. More

For any Cathedral lover, this is a beautiful location. It was grandiose and full of details, and still serves on a daily basis.

I was thrilled to attend the service-I am a church organist. Members outside invited me to tea and goodies at the boys school next door-all very friendly

This is a beautiful Cathedral, both inside and outside. It's situated on the river bank and is also lovely to see from the other side of the bank. Inside it is lovely and peaceful. A must-see when in Inverness.
