I did this walk the day after it had rained all day, figuring there'd be plenty of water coming over the falls & through the gorge. Parking is right at the end of the Glen Nevis Road - don't get confused by the carpark for...More

Enjoyed the walk from the Lower Falls bus stop, three buses a day, views along the route are lovely, enjoyed the lower falls as much as Steall Falls. Our teen aged son loved the steel rope bridge at the end of the walk. Only downside...More

Negative comments on this walk are very funny to read. Either you never walked the path or you expect to take pictures while driving by. If you like to walk, this one is relatively easy and short. You have to follow the single road track...More

This is the most spectacular walk I have ever been on. It feels like your in Jurassic Park! Although I walked most of it I haven't quite made it right to the end due to the increasingly difficult terrain and height for the people I...More

Lovely walk, steel rope bridge across the river to get to the falls could be a challenge for some people but totally worth it. Recommend waterproof shoes from the river to the falls as it was pretty boggy, and wear midgets proof clothes and repellent.

Definitely worth the walk! You do need walking boots as it is a rocky path with steep drops, theres a couple of parts where you walk over slippery rocks. I wouldn't want to bring young children for safety. We went late morning, big mistake as...More

There had been some rain the night before so this waterfall was particularly stunning. There are some spaces to park the car close by so that you can walk right up to the waterfall. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks is both...More

We visited earlier this week. We parked in the Upper Glen Nevis car park and walked along to Steall Falls and the cable bridge. The walk took about half an hour each way. The first 2 thirds of it is along a rocky foot path...More

25 minute hike through rock and trees, the gradient of the slopes isn't too adverse but good footwear is required. Towards the end of the hike either one can cross a steel wire bridge (which could be a challenge if not confident) or the river...More

A very pleasant walk up to this majestic waterfall, path is well maintained, mainly stone steps, some water inevitable, through trees above the river, waterfall is across a meadow and close access is via a 3 rope bridge, this is not essential to view the...More

You don't need to cross the cable bridge to see the falls. I would not recommend wading through the river. It is very cold and deep in places

Hi, The road leading up to car park is in good condition. It is hilly and twisty but at the right speed is manageable. The last section is a single road, so you just have to go 20 MPH and work with cars coming the other... More
