We came too late for the last visit, but had a good tasting and bought a bottle. The younger lad was more generous and let us taste quite a few however the older man was very reluctant! Overall we got to taste without the tour so a good experience.

We dropped in with our friends who were over from Sweden. The tour was excellently priced and the guide very knowledgeable. We paid extra and tried 3 additional whiskys at the end (except the designated driver) and it was very nice. If you are in the area its worth a look.

My family and I aren't whiskey drinkers but as we were already visiting Ben Nevis we decided to pop in. It was just my family on the tour. The guide was really informative and enthusiastic. We all left loving our experience.

A visit to west Scotland would not be complete without a guided tour around The Ben Nevis distillery. It's not just informative but being part of the places history. The guided tour was excellent and comprehensive and presented to us in a professional manner. A must see.

Having visited the majority of Scotland's distilleries I was surprised to find this one shut at 4pm on a Saturday Easter weekend and it doesn't even open at all on Sundays! After the effort of cycling 10 miles to enjoy a few wee nips for the evening I was left very disappointed. And sober.

We always enjoy the freshly prepared sandwiches and coffee served in Denby cups with saucers! However, now there are more options with soup and sandwich combos and homemade cup cakes or tray bakes to choose from. Friendly service from Richard and good value for quality food!

It was a very informational tour that Ian gave us. We started off with a video. It was so nice to learn about how whiskeys are made and the different criteria they have to meet in order to be considered a Scottish whiskey such as it has to be 40% alcohol level, it has to mature over 3 years, etc.... A wet day in Fort William, this is just down the road from the old Inverlochy castle, bus 45/46/47 from the town centre (not the bus station). A brief dvd, before visiting the plant. Approx. £2.50 for those that don't imbibe, £5 for one tipple and £19 for 4 tipples. Great tour guide in Brian, who goes through the whole... More
