The trains have no refreshment trolley despite the 80 mile journey, so the hot drinks and snacks sold here are very welcome. The shop has only a small amount of stock and the staff member was definitely not a rail enthusiast or enthusiastic. The museum...More

This was a small museum put together by locals. The information displayed was very interesting. Model would have been good but we were there before it was completed.

Disappointing. Spent less than 10 minutes in. Advertise working model railway and there wasn't one. Some interesting stuff but not worth paying to see.

A compact little shop with a wonderful assortment of gifts, and an insight of the station as it was back in the days when the station master was indeed master of all he surveyed.
