A very interesting ruin, with good interpretation which lets you see how it used to be without overpowering. Guide books are available if you want more information, from the cabin which is at the entrance. Best of all - the doors open! So many monuments...More

What an excellent hidden gem. It's a ruin that has been considerately renovated enough to allow you to climb stairs and explore, while still using your imagination. Great value.

Guide was very informative, this was a huge castle with much historic redound , but is relegated to the quiet side roads, so make the trip and find a treasure of a site.

Not far from Elgin cathedral and was the bishops Palace I believe. A short walk from the car park in a quiet location. The staff (Duncan or Douglas) was very nice and helpful. Well worth a stop off
