Despite having this gorgeous public garden within walking distance from my home, I've only had the pleasure of visiting a few times. After my most recent visit though I've decided I must make it a more regular thing! Perfect for a solo stroll, or with friends/family. Despite it's modest size- you can easily lose track of time in this garden... More

The garden was absolutely beautiful. The Azalea's were in full bloom and were magnificent. The garden is well laid out in different areas adding to the character of it. The plants also have name tags which helps when you are looking at buying specimens. It also has a nice tearoom.

I discouvered this wonderful 2.5 acre garden several years ago. It is charming, beautifully laid out. Started in 1932 and planted with Eastern plants. I find the best time to visit is May.

This garden is just wonderful. We had a great time taking photos of all the unusual plants and flowers. In addition we got lots of ideas for our own garden. And we were able to purchase seeds. Excellent visit!

First time here in April. Fantastic rhododendron in full Bloom. The gardens have been revitalised with even a tea room in the main building. I will be back soon.
