Been to this beautiful theatre often and never disappointed. Lovely restaurant and gorgeous wee shop with unusual gifts. However on Sunday instead of booking our tickets for Scrooge online we decided to take a run up in the car and buy them at the theatre as we love Pitlochry, the damn alone is wonderful to view. A grumpy man and not... More

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write your review. Having been voted as Scotland's Most Welcoming Theatre for 2 years in a row, excellent customer service is paramount, I am therefore most disappointed and surprised to read of your experience whilst booking your tickets. We shall be investigating this matter further with a view to providing more staff... More

We visited the Festival Theater and were pleasantly surprised by it. The theater is small and intimate, nowhere far from the stage. The foyer is small but just large enough. The surrounding views are spectacular. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The show " Para Handy" was a real treat.

Comedy, musical or drama you always get a professional, talented show. The restaurant is also good value.

Went to the theatre on Saturday as working in the area to see Papa Handy and enjoyed the visit. First visit and enjoyed the performance. Staff very friendly and helpful , no restricted views from any of the seats, look forward to returning in the future.

We had a lovely overnight stay in a local B&B with evening meal at a local restaurant. We decided to walk to the Theatre which would have is 10 mins from the Main Street but we missed the sign for the footpath leading to the Theatre. A local resident pointed us in the right direction but said it happens all... More

Have visited theatre on many occasions. It is a lovely little theatre with good car park and nice seating all with a good view of stage. Para Handy did not appeal to me personally and I didn't find it very funny. I was bored in first half, second half was a bit better. Lots of the audience did find it... More

Pleasant evening at the theatre watching Para Handy. Plenty of parking (charge for non customers?), interesting and quality gift shop, cafe and restaurant and a theatre with no 'bad' seats.

Large car park, and note if you have a ticket for the theatre the car park is free. (even though there is a parking charge machine) Nice modern venue. with comfortable seats and very important to me good legroom. There is a restaurant, but don't expect to get a seat on spec... but see my review of the adjacent hotel... More

we travel regulary to the theatre , and really enjoy the experience, the shows we see are mostly excellent, the theatre staff are lovely. we travelled 9th. november to see Para Handy, and were very disappointed, we found it boring and stodgy, we left at the interval, but we look forward to visiting next year

Hi, thank you for your review. I am sorry to read that Para Handy wasn't to your taste, but it is encouraging to know that you will be back again next year. The summer 2017 brochure is going to print very soon and has some exciting early bird offers!! More

We have visited this theatre a few times to see productions and have rarely been disappointed. The hall takes about 600 and the seating is a bit cramped, certainly for anyone over 6ft. However, wherever you sit, you get a good view of the stage. We have lunch there and they do a good deal on soup and sandwiches. There... More
