Outstanding landmark of Scottish history based on the royal Stewart's. Robert the Bruce's daughter is buried here. Her story is both intriguing and tragic.

Old 11th -12th century abbey dominating the town centre still very much in use today. Trips conducted daily, very informative near to the town hall also worth a visit.

The coffee was okay and the scone was about average. Ladies typical of the WI. It was pretty cheep as coffee goes. Don't think it was more than £4 for two coffees and a scone with butter and jam. Menu was very limited. Gift shop full of the usual tartan and nic nacs for tourists.

Was at the paisley Beer Festival, which was in the Town Hall, and the area around the Abbey was filled with stalls, eating places etc. Have been inside the Abbey before, for a graduation ceremony, it is stunning.

Having trekked down to see this "must see" attraction we were disappointed to find it closed. The poor rating is because of this, & the fact that no times of opening were displayed. As we were only in Paisley one night we missed it!

Beautiful building with a very long & interesting history. This is an important part of Scottish history which has been well maintained. The inside of the building is full of amazing colours, carvings & atmosphere - a definite if you haven't been before & worth revisiting if you have! It also has a nice cafe on site.

Such a peaceful space. You are always made very welcome, regardless of your religion. Interesting shop and delicious coffee/cake on Saturday mornings, although the coffee shop is open every day. Children love finding the wee wooden mouse carved on the choristers pews.

This place is truly a beautiful and special building. The tour guide was extremely enthusiastic and informative about the history of the place. Every corner of this building is enrinched with ornate, historic beauty. It feels very sacred.
